Jam for a Cause
One of the things I love about Jamberry is that the company places a high priority on giving to charity. Jamberry announced today a unique opportunity for YOU to help with earthquake relief efforts in Nepal.
Jamberry has created this beautiful wrap that will only be available From May 6-8. 100% of Jamberry's sales proceeds will be donated to UNICEF for Nepal. I will also donate 10% of my commission. This means, you will be getting a beautiful wrap and no one will be profiting from it but the people of Nepsl will benefit!

Goodbye April Showers... Hello May Flowers!!
Every month Jamberry releases a wrap that is available for that month only. This month's Sister Style wrap is called May Flowers. It is a clear wrap with red flowers. (By the way, all of Jamberry's clear wraps can be layered over lacquer.)

Sticky Business
Are you having trouble with your Jams sticking? Oily nails can interfere with your Jams sticking like they should. Try prepping your nails either with Dawn dish soap or vinegar before applying!! Also, avoid touching the adhesive with your fingers, which also contain oils.
Happy Jamming!

What's so great about Jamberry?
I've never been one to paint my finger nails. There was a time, oh so long ago, that I got mani/pedis religiously. Even then, I never put polish on my fingernails. Ever. I hated that they chipped so quickly, so I preferred to just keep them bare.
It's not that I didn't like the look of nicely painted nails, it's just that it was so fleeting and I'm so lazy that it would take days before I'd remove the chipping polish.
This is one (of many) reasons I love Jamberry nail wraps so much - they last so much longer than polish. Sure, it takes a little bit of time to apply them (which, I thought I would hate because I'm lazy) but it's totally worth not having to remove and reapply so often. Plus, I actually find it quite relaxing. I look forward to my jamicure time, it's therapeutic.
In addition to being long-lasting, Jamberry had a TON of designs to choose from and they are NON-TOXIC!! I really started getting into Jams when I found out I was pregnant. Suddenly my desire for cute nails increased (probably because my selection of cute clothing decreased) but I was concerned about chemicals. All Jamberry products (including the lacquers, more on those later) are free of the chemicals that make other polishes questionable. Oh, and they're vegan-friendly. :)
